Ever have a conversation at school and then replay it in your head all night? Or wonder if you said the wrong thing, imagine what could go wrong, or keep thinking about something you have absolutely no control over? Yep. That’s overthinking.

In this episode, we’re talking about the difference between processing and overthinking, why our brains get stuck in those loops, and how easily teachers can carry school conversations, decisions and worries home with us. We share some of our own experiences with overthinking and some practical things that have helped us step out of the cycle, including putting thoughts on paper, giving them a time limit, asking what we can actually do, and learning to zoom out. Let’s dive into the well.
